Hoy me he levantado apocalíptica y leer el periódico me no ha ayudado mucho a relajar el ambiente. Parece ser que cosas horribles están pasando simultáneamente por todo planeta, y yo estoy empezando a sentirme como si llevara encima un número de lotería catastrófica. Qué angustia. Luego he pensado: ¿y si toda esta atmósfera de miedo estuviera en realidad orientada a que nos entre a todos el carpe diem y nos volvamos locos a consumir?
Más tarde leyendo el blog Contraindicaciones me he topado con una cita a Mark Fisher que dice que "es más fácil imaginar imaginar el fin del mundo que el fin del capitalismo" y me ha parecido lo más verosímil que he leido en todo el día. Lo digo por si alguien está también en plan apocalíptico.

Today I woke up apocalyptic. Reading the newspaper hasn´t helped and has turned my mood into a scared little mouse. It seems that horrible thigs are happening in the world at this same time. I feel like a big number of some catastrophic lotto. Then I´ve thought that maybe they want us to be afraid so we all scream carpe diem and go and spend all our money out there. Later, reading the blog Contraindicaciones I´ve run into a quote from Mark Fisher that says that "it is easier to imagine the end of the world than the end of capitalism" and I found it the most reasonable thing I´ve read today. Now I´m gonna sleep better.
